The Tidy Would-Be Thief

Pic found at sayvilleucc.org
My hubby obviously did not marry me for my housekeeping skills.

He informed me that someone must have broken into our house last night, and upon finding nothing of value,  felt sorry for him and decided to move his underwear and socks from my laundry basket into his dresser drawers. I guess he was a little shocked this morning when he started to get dressed and his clothes were where they were supposed to be, and since I so rarely put away his clothes, he thought this was the most logical explanation.

He's lucky I love him and think he's cute. Jerk...I mean, the love of my life. =)

Random thoughts on a Wednesday

My laundry never makes it to the drawers and closets. There's always something better to do. But at least they're clean in the basket.

God gave a whole new meaning to 'the handwriting on the wall' for me last night. He went high tech and freaking wrote me a message on Facebook. I'm not kidding!!! =)

I got scared to death the other day. I heard knocking, so naturally I went to the front door to see who was there. NO ONE! It took me a minute to realize it was a woodpecker outside my kitchen.

I don't know how I'm going to keep up with my college son's activities once his girlfriend goes off to college herself next year. She's always asking me, "Did he tell you...?" And I'm always like, "No. No he didn't."

When my kids were little, I wouldn't let them say things like 'Shut up' or 'Stupid.' When they asked me why I could say them and they couldn't, I simply responded, "Those are mommy words. You don't know how to use them yet." It worked.
